About Hoarders Cleaners
A specialist London team for hoarding, biohazard and extreme-clean work — discreet, compassionate and available across every borough.
Who we are
Hoarders Cleaners is an independent, London-based specialist cleaning company focused entirely on hoarding, biohazard and extreme-clean situations that ordinary domestic cleaners cannot — or should not — handle. Our team was formed after years of frontline work across estate clearance, end-of-tenancy and trauma cleaning, when we realised that families, landlords, social workers and mental-health professionals needed one dedicated service they could trust with the most sensitive jobs.
We operate out of Hampton (TW12) and cover every London borough, from Barnet and Enfield in the north to Barking, Dagenham and the far reaches of East London. Because our vehicles, PPE and disposal contracts are already in place for the toughest work, we can usually be on site within twenty-four hours of your first call.
What we stand for
Every property we enter belongs to a real person with a real story. Compulsive hoarding, bereavement, illness, addiction and long-term isolation can each leave a home in a condition that feels impossible to face. We refuse to see any of it as "just a mess". Our promise is simple:
Dignity first. We never photograph, laugh at or share what we see. Nothing is thrown away without permission where the occupant is present and able to decide. Communication is calm, plain and free of jargon.
Discretion always. Our vans are unmarked. Crews wear neutral uniforms. Neighbours, colleagues and extended family will not learn what we are doing at your address from us.
Safety without shortcuts. From syringes and rodent infestations to unattended-death residues, we follow HSE-aligned protocols, use full PPE and route waste through licensed disposal channels. You get proper duty-of-care paperwork every time.
What we do
Our services cluster around four core areas:
- Hoarder clearance and cleaning — homes at every stage of the Clutter Image Rating scale, from Level 1 through severe Level 5 properties with structural risk.
- Biohazard and trauma cleaning — unattended death, decomposition, blood, faeces and needle recovery, plus deep sanitisation afterwards.
- End-of-tenancy and probate clearances — landlord, council, housing association and executor-instructed cleans, with itemised inventories where required.
- Specialist deep cleans — kitchens, bathrooms and whole properties suffering long-term neglect, pest issues or fire and smoke damage.
Alongside the practical work, we support families with sensitive extras: locating important paperwork before disposal, safeguarding photographs and personal keepsakes, and liaising with social services or environmental health when needed.
The team
Our crews are directly employed, DBS-checked and trained in-house in trauma-informed cleaning, safe manual handling and infection control. Nobody arrives at your door on their first day; every operative has shadowed a senior technician for months before taking on their own jobs.
The company is led by a hands-on management team that still attends complex initial surveys personally. When you speak to us on the phone, you are speaking to someone who has walked into homes exactly like yours and knows what needs to happen next.
How we work with you
Every project starts with a free, no-obligation conversation — by phone, email or WhatsApp. If you are ready, we can arrange a discreet on-site survey the same week. You receive a written quote with a clear scope of works, day-by-day plan and fixed price wherever possible.
On site we sequence the work carefully: securing the property, protecting utilities, sorting keepsakes, removing waste, deep cleaning, sanitising and finishing with odour control. You are welcome to stay involved at every step or step back entirely — whichever helps you cope best.
Afterwards we provide before-and-after documentation for landlords, insurers or executors, along with copies of waste transfer notes so you have a full audit trail.
Who we help
We work every day with:
- Family members trying to help a parent, sibling or adult child who is hoarding or has been living in unsafe conditions.
- Landlords, letting agents and councils facing tenancies that have deteriorated beyond a routine end-of-tenancy clean.
- Executors and solicitors dealing with probate properties that need to be cleared, cleaned and prepared for sale.
- Social workers, occupational therapists and mental-health teams looking for a specialist partner who understands safeguarding.
- NHS discharge coordinators trying to get a patient safely back into a home that has become uninhabitable.
Where we go
Although we are based in south-west London, more than half of our work is in North London, East London and the outer boroughs. We routinely work across Barnet, Southgate, Enfield, Haringey, Barking, Dagenham and beyond, and we are happy to travel further afield in and around the M25 for larger projects.
